The Diamond Stealth II S220 used the Rendition Verite V2100 and was considered a budget card. Other manufacturers implemented the V2200 which offered higher clock frequencies (about 10MHz more). To increase interest in the Stealth II S220 and to keep up with the competition, Diamond released a new BIOS that increased the clock frequencies of the chip.

It runs all the DOS-benchmarks without problems but does it really slow. It's performance level in Doom is comparable with a budget ISA-card. > Read more
